MCU Christ Imagery

ENDGAME SPOILERS AHEAD.
Just looking back over some Marvel movie scenes and promotional art and I was struck by the poster for Infinity War. Especially after the events of Endgame, I found this Tony Stark’s body language in this to be suspiciously intentional. What do you think? Were the Russos telegraphing Iron Man’s ultimate Sacrifice? Have you seen any other examples of Christ-Imagery in the Marvel Movies? Let us know!tonyjesus.jpg

Note the repulsor-pierced palms and the glowing heart. Kind of makes Tony’s sacrifice, giving his life for the salvation of all mankind seem pretty obvious in hindsight.
