Shakespearing Things Up!

I found this hashtag on Twitter yesterday. I don’t know where it came from, but I was delighted and instantly wanted to play along.

My only fear is that now my inner dialogue is going to speak like Mercutio all day.

Here’s a few of my favorites:

“Feel thou fortune’s favor? Art favor’d, knave?!”

“‘Tis thee hour to transform!”

“Mark my words! I’ll not abide these ill begotten snakes on this ill begotten plane!”

But is’t thy hope that I betray my oath?”
“Nay sir; I hope for nought save that thou diest…”

“Yay, though mine retreat is upon me, verily, I shall return.”

And here’s some from us @NerdOfGodcast

“Behold, thine huckleberry.”

“I bid thee halt. ‘Tis the hour of Hammer.”

“Takest thou not mine word for it.”

“I perceive thou needest a grander vessel.”

“Give pause, Physician. Tellest thou me… From the very chariot of DeLorean, thou hast contrived a machination which giveth mastery over time and hour?”
